Respiratory Service

The Respiratory Service supports patients who have a range of respiratory diseases and supports them to manage their condition.

Overview of the service

The Respiratory Service is a multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists, an occupational therapist and an assistant practitioner who specialise in the treatment and management of adults with respiratory disease within the community. We support patients with a diagnosed respiratory disease and we provide the following services: pulmonary rehabilitation; assessment and prescribing of oxygen, prescribing of inhalers and specialist care through one-to-one clinic and home visit sessions.
