We offer a confidential, discreet and non-discriminatory sexual health and contraception service based at The Rosehill Clinic in St Helier Hospital.

Our walk-in clinic on a Monday evening from 4pm-6pm is for female, male and transgender commercial sex workers that would like easy access to a sexual health clinic offering sexual health testing, advice, vaccinations, contraception, PrEP and more. This service is confidential and any information shared or any testing done will not show on your hospital or GP records.

Your results will be sent to you via text message or a staff member will call you on the mobile number you provide within approximately two weeks from the testing date.

Regular sexual health check-ups are important for you and you should not feel embarrassed to attend the clinic. Contraception and HIV pre exposure prophylaxis may also be offered.

Our staff are friendly and well trained in what they do. If you attend the Monday evening clinic, it is likely that you will see the same nurses, doctors and health care assistants each time you attend.

If you are unable to make the walk-in clinic on a Monday or would prefer a booked appointment during the week, then please feel free to call us on 020 8296 3910 or fill in a self-referral form.

When booking an appointment either via telephone or filling in the self-referral form please disclose that you are a sex worker so that we can book you into our dedicated clinic; however, if you don’t feel comfortable disclosing this then do mention it to one of our nurses or doctors during your consultation so that you can be offered the appropriate vaccinations etc.

We offer the following services:

• vaccinations against Hepatitis B
• free condoms and contraception including Long-acting methods of contraception such as IUD/IUC and Implants
• free emergency contraception
• appropriate advice on sexual health
• information on sexually transmitted infections and how to prevent them
• confidential sexual health testing for STIs including HIV
• PEPSE (Post-exposure prophylaxis)
• PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis).
